Bio:
Selin Temren (She/Her) is from Ankara, the capital of Turkiye. In 2025, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Bilkent University. During her undergraduate studies at Bilkent University, she pursued a minor in Philosophy to build an interdisciplinary foundation.
As a Fulbright Grantee, Selin is now continuing her academic journey at UC Santa Barbara. She is a Master of Arts student in Global Studies that has a special research interest on global political economy, green industrial shift and policy, and development. She has a particular focus on critical and interdisciplinary approaches to global affairs.
In her leisure time, she enjoys reading philosophy and literature.
