1) NOTES ON GLOBAL CLASSES/ANNUAL PLAN

A) Global 1 and Global 2 will be offered each quarter during the year.
We'll block Global 1 for majors in winter and spring (but not fall...)

Emphasis is on doing business in a global environment, and the relation of
current international events to business. Participants must be committed to
the seminar and keep up with readings, including reading LA Times and/or NY
Times daily. Papers may be required. The seminar will be led by Paul
Orfalea, who was the founder-owner of Kinko's, an international copy
company that had its beginnings in a small shop in Isla Vista.
We've put 15 seats out on GOLD for Seniors in the global major.
We no longer use a wait list to fill this class. We will open the
remaining seats (5-8) during Pass 3 for seniors in the global studies major.
