Sikhism (RS 162C) is a lecture course in which we trace the development of the Sikh community from its founding in the 1520s to its modern manifestation as a powerful religious minority in India.
The Sikh Tradition (RS 213A) is a graduate seminar in which we use primary sources in translation to discuss the evolution of Sikh religious life from the community's inception in the 1520s to the present.
The Guru Granth (RS 213C) is a graduate seminar in which we examine the making, the status, and the role of the Guru Granth in Sikh devotional life.
