A Christian relief and development agency responding to Biblical mandates with a commitment to improve global health care, International Aid “...bridges three components of health delivery systems: community health, clinical care, and technology, and embraces them as mutually supportive approaches to health care in the developing world.” Based in Spring Lake, Michigan, IA has delivered more than $500 million in relief supplies to 170 countries through the following eight ministries: Emergency Relief, The Mission Resource Center, Medicines and Supplies, Medical Equipment/Training, Lab-in-a-suitcase, Christian Eye Ministry, Kids Helping Kids, and Kids Hope USA. IA recently partnered with GE Healthcare and agreed to refurbish donated medical equipment and distribute it with- as IA CEO Myles Fish identified- a bias “...to support those organizations that share our commitment to the lord.” Additionally, IA distributes mobile, solar-powered urine and blood test kits (lab-in-a-suitcase) in an attempt to address the need for AIDS/HIV diagnostic capabilities throughout much of Africa and Asia.

Major Programs/Projects:
Development Programs International Aid's approach to improving
the health of populations in developing countries includes:
gift-in-kind provision; hospital management; medical
equipment supply, management and repair training; and
community-based, primary, maternal and child healthcare.
The global strategy for health and development includes
integrating the church, hospitals and the community to
maximize resources and ensure a broad and sustainable
impact. Missionary Services International Aid supports
missionaries through its mission resource center located
at global headquarters in Spring Lake, Michigan. Missionaries
and those embarking on short-term service obtain health
and personal care products, as well as other needed items
that international Aid provides. Relief and Assistance
Program International Aid responds to man-made and natural
disasters around the world, providing medicines, medical
supplies, food and other tangible resources needed. This
is accomplished in direct partnership with local churches,
national agencies, and others who provide donated gifts-in-kind
to people in crisis.
