Paul Lynch
Paul says he is a disaster tourist of sorts, as a documentary filmmaker interested in the often untold stories about the negative aspects of human interaction and globalization.
His research interests are varied, but focus on the role and the conception of global civil society in reference to global governance. The distinct case studies he has researched and documented span the globe and range from resource distribution to grassroots peace development, from war to refugee camps, from environmental development projects to HIV/AIDS orphanages.
Ultimately, he cares to reveal the contradictions and promises of a failing system so that we may have a foundation to build a new alternative that encompasses the diversity prevalent in the world’s systems.
Paul is currently interning in New York City at the Clinton Global Initiative in their On-line Operations department, making videos. He will also intern abroad in the fall, possibly with Clinton Foundation affiliates International Crisis Group or InterNews, in Rwanda or Malawi.
