This workshop focused especially on Argentina, and the role that religion plays in a country where the Roman Catholic Church is tied constitutionally to the government. A group of a dozen scholars and practitioners participated in the workshop, including leaders of health delivery and democratic advocacy organizations in the country. The workshop was organized by the Orfalea Center in conjunction with the Centro de Estudios Internacionales y de Educacion para la Globalizacion (CEIEG) at UCEMA.
