Trenton S. Ulicny
Class of 2000

I am currently finishing up my Masters Degree at Aalborg University in Denmark (Masters of International Affairs MIA with a European Studies emphasis), where I have been living for the past year and a half after graduation with my lovely wife Sabrina, and my two boys, Skylar (3) and our most recent Danish-born Taelan (4 months).

I was accepted into Columbia University last week into their fantastic SIPA Program (School of International and Public Affairs)- so we will be moving to New York in August after completion of my first masters to persue two more. At Columbia I will be persuing yet another MIA, as well as a MBA from the Columbia joint program with their business school.

Why 3 Masters Degrees one may ask? I want to work in the private business sector (hence the MBA) but also want the international perspective not achieved through most business schools (hence the columbia MIA), plus I believe international experience, as well as an international perspective on matters is invaluable, and the only true way to aqcuire that is by living and studying abroad (hence the Danish based MIA). all of this should hopefully provide the business skills I need to achieve my goals - while providing the moral foundation and societal responsibility awareness I desire to make a positive impact and distinct difference within multi-national corporations.

When I'm not writing my thesis I'm either playing soccer or keeping tabs on an international export company that I founded and run - which ships, sells, and markets American aftermarket automotive (car) parts to western europe. It at least keeps me busy - as does looking over my other company, Flatline Graphix, which I started while a Global major at UCSB in the offices then above Silver Greens- which currently has 5 franchises in California.

Best,

~trent
