Mark,
just finished my last exam in spain, of college.
my brother and i are celebrating by leaving to morocco at
5 tomarrow morning. spain is great, it seems to me still a
very young. after living under franco so long their growth
seems a bit stunted. kids still live with their parents, until
they marry. something like 75% of 26 year olds in andalucia
still live at home. while they have been given freedoms from
the government they still lack privacy and freedom from the
home. the moms want to know everything. all in all of course
it has been a great experience. i could live here again, but
not with a family. i like cooking for myself and feeling like
i have my own home, not that i am a guest. my spanish has
suprised me and i feel very comfortable with it, so that part
i feel has been a success. i wish you a happy holidays and
will get in touch when i get back to santa barbara at the
end of january.
Adam
