Letters from Abroad: Shadee Malekafzali in Madrid

Professor Appelbaum,

I'm sure you don't remember me, but I took Soc 1 with you, which made me change my major to global studies, and I later took global 2 with you.......I am studying abroad right now in Madrid, Spain for the year, I just wanted to comment on how interesting it is to see students here getting involved in educating themselves and other students about globalization, and all the other issues we talk about in global studies......I was also thinking about internships for the summer and I am very interested in the internship with Charles Kernahan and was wondering if you could send me any information you have on it and also I was wondering if Anita Roddick offers any internships in London, if she does it would be a great opportunity for me since I am already here.............I have learned so many things here professor that I hope to share with you in the future, but it has definitely made me want to learn more and become more active, I highly recommend going abroad, especially for global majors..............

Thanks for your time,

Shadee Malekafzali
